This has nothing to do with heavy rain as the path flooded overnight last week when there was 5days with no rain.
it os happening because there is an incline in the path from the station entrance. There now seems to be slight subsidence in the path by the mottram stand so the rain run off down the path pools. Of course people are too lazy to use the path that goes around the stand instead ruining the grass and flower beds....I mean who walks through a flower bed. But as stated SBC have no intention on keeping a main ventricle of the park open or usable and let the looks of the park slide.
