Perfect Pizza

I don't expect this thread to last, but I want to raise a couple of points.

This pizza place is close to where I live, and the pizzas are okay, better than Domino's in my opinion.

However, they have a couple of nasty habbits. First of all, they have a number of different deals and offers, the best being Any Pizza, Any Size for £8.99, and also Any Pizza, Any Size, Buy One Get One Free. However, unless you are VERY explicit about which offer you want to use when ordering, they seem to find the most expensive route and charge you for that.

Tonight I rang up and asked if they were still running their £8.99 offer, which they were. After placing my order the bloke on the phone read it back to me and then quoted for £9. I thought it odd, but thought it slip of the tongue. When I collected and paid in person, the bloke again asked me for £9. I pointed at the offer and said "Isn't it £8.99?" to which the chap replied "Well, yeah, £8.99 or £9."

Now, admittedly this is only a penny, but it really bothered me. It came across as calculated, and casting my mind back I recall that this is not the first time it's happened. I can now remember the £9 business happening before, and me ignoring it or forgetting it.

As I type this out at 3 a.m. I realise that I sound like a crazy person. But that penny is my money.

I have to agree i've had thi problem a few times.I stick to ordering online now, save any confusion. I had the same problem with abduls the other week aswell. I ordered 2 meals and got my friend to collect them, i got charged about £16(bearing in mind it should have been half of that as it was 2 for 1. so i rang up and tey told me that if i wanted the 2 for 1 deal then i would need to ask for it!

When I went to collect a pizza the other day it was £9, and there was an ad in the window saying "Any pizza any size £8.99" but then on the door Im sure there was an ad saying "Any pizza any size £9" I thought at the time it was odd to have the same offer but 2 different prices so Im glad other people have noticed too!

With respect, Abdul's, Alee has no reason to lie. I'm sure it was just a simple misunderstanding.

Also, I can't help but notice that your email address and posting style is very similar to another user we have, roxy. ;)

However, as long as you're open and honest, I think you will find that people round here respect that and are more than willing to forgive and forget! So, welcome to Stafford Forum. :)

Just plan slightly ahead and go to asda, their pizzas beat any takeaway in the 'ford I've tried. Getting 2 10" ones for 4 quid just makes it better :D

nice try , but i doubt any business would accuse a customer of lying on the internet for everyone to see( or even go out of there way for one complaint.i have no reason to lie and was just expressing my opinion...:)
