Which farm are you supposed to register at?

"All intending purchasers MUST register and obtain a buyers number upon arrival at the farm"

Sad to see the PandA House end like this, seems so harsh and a sad reflection on how hard business can be nowadays.

Probably just another mistake - South & Stubbs do a lot of poultry auctions, I believe.

Probably means 'register ... upon arrival at the auction venue'.

I'd feel a bit odd picking the bones of somewhere I rather liked.
I know what you mean, but I would rather like a memento of what was a special place.

When my friend's pub in Ireland closed after his death, I managed to liberate the truncheon that he had used to chase some lads down the street at four in the morning one memorable night...

I've already got a memento :) Mr. A gave me my picture which had been hanging in the PandA for several months. You wouldn't have known it was me though - I was in disguise!

Gotta admit I always liked the colourful sax painting, would look great in my living room.
If I do go to the PandA House wake, do you have a limit to bid to on the saxophone picture?..

I would have PM'd you, if your box wasn't full, like it always is..

wanna see my snake?
Bugger, always forget to look up there! Note to admin, please make messages more obvious :D

TBH I doubt I can afford it, had an expensive few months between the tree removal and the new glasses etc. I'm already about £500 down on where I should be and we're only 6 weeks into the year! Could do maybe £50 tops, but I expect it to go for more than that. Is it an auction or a browse and offer type of thing?

Yup, fraid so. Have needed them for computer use for about 2 years now, although had good and bad weeks. For the last few months though its been getting a lot worse, or at least feels like it has. I'm now wearing them full time, and if anything I can feel my 'normal' vision deteriorating the more I wear the specs. Strangely only one eye has changed prescription, and only by a very small amount, but my distance vision is screwed. Its fairly sharp, but the 2 images never align and I see kind of double. The glasses make it better, but not perfect by any stretch :(
