Right, correction it does not include a starter.

However, this "happy hour" deal is £4 for one person, £7.50 for 2 people, or £14 for 4 people.

Me and wif just been and were totally impressed.
A large drink (i had pepsi) which was in a tall glass and probably closer to a pint than a half. Not too much ice either (that's one thing that usually annoys me at restaurants)
The garlic bread was a nice little intro while waiting for our pizza's.
I expected a tiny 6" pizza on this deal, but was greeted with a lovely 9" pizza which filled the gap nicely.

TO CONFIRM THE OFFER.... HAPPY HOUR
Mon to Fri 3pm - 6pm
Garlic bread, and EITHER pizza, salad or pasta plus a drink.
£4 for 1, £7.50 for 2, or £14 for 4.

THUMBS UP PIZZA HUT!

I then looked right and watched a woman eat a full size pizza with 28 cheezy bites attached all to herself. WOAHHH!! It looked filling enough for 4 people!!!!!!!

jesus wept, surely not?? me & ms. dirtybobby have got quite an appetite, but we struggle to finish one of those cheesy bites pizzas between us! i mean, the cheesy bites on their own - that's like 14 bits of cheese-stuffed garlic bread each, and that's before you've tackled the pizza!! lol

either way, thanks for the heads-up - we'll blatantly be taking advantage of this :D

jesus wept wmrcomputers surely you mean 'my wife and i'
lol, nah... me and the wif!

The wife and I, although it's the correct way to speak sounds like she's above me, whereas "me and the wif" is more informal and "togetherly" if that's a word.

I like to think we are equals at least, but that's just a fantasy. You're right. She's above me!
lol

I have just taken the kids for the Happy Hour deal and can confirm that its really good. It was very busy though and we had to wait 10 mins for a table. If i were you i would ring ahead and book a table - the number is 249900.

Say.

I am intrigued.

Pizza hut has now been open for 10 days (if I'm right - which I like to think I am)

I have been twice that I can remember, possibly thrice.

How many times have people been? Anyone been 10 times? one per day? Could be a challenge! It will get difficult to achieve this record in a year!

I am intending to turn into a pizza soon.

for all my eagerness vis a vis pizzahut 'pon this very forum, i still haven't been! me and the missus were going to have one last weekend, but we kept seeing that KFC boxmaster advert and just couldn't resist, so ended up having one of those instead (it was gorgeous, fyi)..

i'm pretty sure we're going to have one this weekend.. i take it they do take-away? all pizzahut restaurants do, as far as i know, but thought i'd better check!

I went there on sunday with a friend and we had a ridiculously large meal, awesomely tasty, great service, very good price, lovely surroundings and a waitress who's nervous disposition kept me laughing most of the time. Thumbs up from me!

perhaps your continued laughing made her nervous some folk can find that type of thing a bit scary.....

im glad you clarified :pig: :P.

i was very disappointed with myself, i had to eat mine in 2 sittings the other week. :( although in fairness, i did eat half a tub of ice cream (rubbish, i might add- crap copy of ben and jerrys) after the first sitting....and a further quarter of the tub after the second! :munch:

this place should not be measured on gastronomic delight nor maybe on the quality of service....
