this place should not be measured on gastronomic delight nor maybe on the quality of service....

so, if this fast-food restaurant shouldn't be gauged on the food it serves or the restaurant service it provides, how should it be measured? lol

so far, i have been nothing but impressed with pizza hut.. i don't know if it's a price glitch, but we didn't get charged extra for our cheesy bites at the weekend, so we only paid £12.99 in total! a right touch..

Rateable value is a value assigned to each property and used to be used to calculate the rates that you would be liable to pay to the council. Rates, of course, have been 'superceded' by the Council Tax. Rateable value still exists, though, and is used as a basis for calculating your water rates. It is presumably implicated in Business Rates as well, but of this I know nothing.

In summary, it is a guess used to justify how much they're going to just take from you anyway.

i found out the other weekend that they now do a garlic cheesy bites base....great on 2 fronts.

do they do this at the stafford one, does anyone know? i've had takeaway from there twice now, and don't remember seeing garlic cheesy bites mentioned

we had (regular, non-garlic) cheesy bites on saturday, half hawaiian and half BBQ.. i don't know how anyone can eat one on their own - me & the missus tried our best but still couldn't polish the whole thing off!

edit: that's not directed at you, cookie - i was referring to the patron wmr saw demolishing one on their tod!

Took our first, and last trip to the hut on Sunday.
We stood waiting to be seated, three waitresses said "somebody will be with you in a minute". We stopped believing after three plus minutes passed.
When we were finally greeted the waitress asked "table for two?". "Er, no...three".
Menus given out and then 15 minutes passed by without any interference, I mean no drinks orders taken, nothing.
With a child in tow, this felt a helluva lot longer.
We walked out straight to KFC, a waitress chased us over there, but for us the attention was a little to late.

Get in there ..a blow for the little fella, ...sadly customer service is very lacking at this joint (americanism) it is a production line and cannot cope with anything out of the norm.....

The service was a bit hit and miss when i went. Got pestered by 2 different waitresses for the first 10 minutes who seemed in a rush to take our order. Then they didn't really come to us at all after that and we had to go and find one to get more drink/order desert and ask for bill. I also noticed one table near us not get their order taken for about 30 mins and another couple waiting for the bill for almost as long as it took for us to eat our meal.

strange, we went last bank holiday (for my niece's birthday party, so there was a fair few of us, including kids) and the service and food was top notch! they ran out of small pizzas (not sure how that can happen if all the bases are supposed to be fresh lol) so all the kids' pizzas came out as medium for no extra charge as well

i've only eaten in that one time, though, so maybe we were just lucky.. i've ordered takeaway many's a time though, and it's always ready very promptly and excellent quality

Well, we have just been there tonight and as we sat and waited, and waited, and waited, and waited i suddenly remembered a thread on here about it. Seems the problems we found have been there for 12months+ Service was sooooo slow and poor i couldnt believe its the same as 12 months ago. Wont be going there again. Next time will check here first for a review of where to eat out.

The deals have gotten worse, and what you get is getting less and less.

Went in for lunch today with Gilbert and Lal, i went for the buffet however i was most disappointed that the salad bar was missing sliced red onions and jalapenos. When enquired i was told that the salads were costantly changing and they would return but they didn't know when. "It's all down to head Office" i was told.......

free kids meals were good, I think they're extended til December?
