..... allows schools to effectively opt out of .... even hiring qualified teachers - should bring down costs nicely.
I'm not sure if I've already posted this, but anyway .... http://www.independent.co.uk/voices...d-brain-surgeons-for-that-matter-8916236.html

"The puzzling part is that in every other area of education, this Government is more obsessed with exam results and qualifications than ever. "

Finish the saying "Those that have qualifications, do; those that haven't, teach; those that ......"

I care not what puppet is placed upon the throne of England to rule the empire on which the sun never sets. The man who controls Britain’s money supply controls the British Empire, and I control the British money supply

And as someone in the private sector, I would never employ someone from the public sector. Their work ethic is a bit on the shit side, and they expect too much in return for nothing. Apologies if their are public sector employees reading this, you may work hard, but from my experience and the amount of time they waste (which just racks up cost for the tax payer) that's just the way it seems.

Worked in the Private and Public sector, and this is moronic statement.
There are lazy useless half wits in the private sector just as much as the public sector has hard working, well qualified staff working in it. I assume you have never used an NHS nurse, doctor or consultant?

The public sector is very very different to that of the 60's and 70's. When I worked in the Public sector just a couple of years ago most of my colleagues including me, had at least two degrees, a professional accreditation and private sectors experience.

Having been in both sectors, there are areas of both which are not perfect.

Yeah, we're all in this together and we must get used to austerity - I heard it from a bloke reading notes off a gold lectern at a banquet..

One of the major benefits of privatisation is that the money spent may be termed "commercially confidential"..

Cameron gave Army recruitment to Capita

Capita have taken the recruitment and put everything online

Cameron wanted to increase from 20,000 to 30,000 new reservists ( TA )

The number of reservists is now below 20,000

Trebles all round!

On the very day that the last redundancies were handed out, they had an 'Army Careers' mobile billboard van parked on Wickes car-park..

Stafford Health Services

Did you know...

That some Stafford Mental Health Services are provided by a firm in Hartlepool

That 'St George's' provide some Mental Health Services in The Isle of White

That Virgin Healthcare have tendered for some Mental Health Services in Staffordshire

That the Cannock and Stafford CCG's are facing a 10% cut in budget to provide services to us in part because less people are 'buying' Stafford health services

The CCG board - Clinical Commissioning Group - hold the power/money/budget for all our health provision, after the Coalition

Feeling unwell? Complicated isn't it ..
