In terms of the blue bin, what do we do with blister packs, where the plastic is stuck to the cardboard?
Do we need to separate the plastic before putting the cardboard in the bag, and the plastic in the bin?
I just wonder if it's necessary now - we are not required to remove plastic windows from envelopes. In terms of the blue bin, what do we do with blister packs, where the plastic is stuck to the cardboard?

That's what I do, but then I also separated them even when they both went into the blue bin

The type where the cardboard is inside the plastic are usually simple enough, the cardboard is usually loose and you have to cut the plastic to get the contents out anyway.the plastic windows from envelopes is easily filtered out when the paper is all mashed up, but if the cardboard is sandwiched inside the plastic packaging it can't be separated in the same way and so would probably be discarded as contaminated waste.
Is this based on anything, the question?Does anyone know if the Tip is closing. Can't see anything on the website.
Thanks
It did close during Lockdown 1, as yet however, I can't find any info for Lockdown 2.Is this based on anything, the question?
Its always busy, its much needed, can’t imagine it closing. Has it been reported somewhere that it is?
There seems to be a vague national policy in that sort of direction. So someone in the council is switched on as closing the refuse site was a stupid decision in lock 1 (IMO)
