Just happened to be passing over the bridge and saw his - very ugly. Around 4;30 pm Sunday - Police called. Glasses flying between pissed-up knuckle-dragging morons standing outside on the river-front with security out-numbered, and some of them forcing their way inside the main bar to continue it. What a shame - and hope this is not the theme for the rest of the new river-side bars/cafes. Half-price cocktails and a bit of sunshine plus poor control of their outside area with obvious yobs served drinks (baseball hats a-plenty) = public disturbance. The Police surely have better things to do than this, and I'd bet this place will now be on their watch list.
I hate to point the finger at fresh young management, but this must be stopped or Stafford Riverside will get the wrong reputation before it starts. I'm really hoping this is an isolated one-off
Needless to say I won't be going anywhere near the place. God only knows what the inside customers must have felt.
