Yup,

Newcastles isn't too bad in the evening, yet to experience Staffords bar of an evening yet....could be interesting?

Kids have got to have somewhere to go and anything that breaks the Casa/Couture dominance has got to be a good thing.

My days of hanging around in kids establishments are sadly way behind me. Nowadays, somewhere a bit more sophisticated (well, quiet, actually) is more my scene...

Kids in the evening and those kids with their kids, during the day.

Ah well......whether you like it or not....kids will always be around......I'd still encourage you to check the place out during the day though. Form an opinion from there rather than speculation that kids will be rife day or night?

You are of course right!*

It's just that I know what I like and I like what I know, and that is, a lot more places in Stafford before trying here.

*Condemnation without investigation is the height of ignorance.

Newcastle is a piss smelling pit when it comes to revolution. That's why so impressed in Stafford version. Opposite sides of the coin

I've not found it so, during the day.

I've not been there since November, mind.

Have been to the in Newcastle a few times during the day and it's certainly not a kids place then. At night, I'm told that's a different matter.
We used to go to the one in Newcastle quite often - it was more of a chavvy drug den than creche ...

...Unfortunately the only drought Ale of any description is Shipyards Pale Ale.

In theory an American Craft Ale from Shipyard Brewery, Portland, Maine. However there is a definite Marstons connection. Are they importing it or is it being brewed under licence?

I've had the original Shipyard IPA that this purports to be - and it isn't. That said, it's an ok sessionable beer if nothing else is available. It's all a bit, meh......

My daughter and I went on the opening night had lovely meal and two cocktails each - its buy one get one free on cocktails at a certain time of the evening and then we got discount on the cocktails and meals because it was an opening night plus we have a revolution loyalty card so it was a great deal.

The place was just getting going when we left - lights outside all along the river and girls on stilts but we had to go home - two cocktails each and we're giggly and if we had stayed for a third we would have been rather tipsy.

We’re going to make an evening of it one night soon, we’ll get posh frocks on and treat ourselves to a mixture of cocktails – they do taste absolutely lovely – we are going to work our way through the cocktails list. I had pizza last time; we’re going to try something new every time we go.
