Looks better than showcase, festival v
park, vue newcastle and cineworld stoke and the one in Uttoxeter.

Looks alright, it is not offensive to me anyway it is not like one would expect it to be timber framed and a improvement on what was there.
Dog shit looks easier to pick up than cat shit, doesn't mean i'm gonna pick-up either of them.

Having only been to Stafford cinema in the last 6 years and been a fan of its olde worldy charm, we went to Vue in a newcastle last week. Holy crap - I didn't even balk at the prices as the experience was immeasurably more pleasurable than any recent trips to Stafford. Bring on the Odeon; even if I do have to remortgage to afford it!

oh #horseshitballs

Look at the state of it, state of the art no doubt, but look at the state of it!?

It looks hideous. It looks more like Toys 'R' Us at the Festival Park with it's large glass frontage letting the sunlight through. As a cinema, it is important to keep the light out for the best possible viewing conditions.

The large glass frontage will be to some kind of reception/foyer area. The actual cinema rooms will be blacked out or, more likely, not have any windows at all.

Isn't all the glass facing North, and as such will never see direct sunlight unless its bouncing off the decrepit looking windows of the council building opposite?

I'm glad we've got an expert on board to really shed some light on these poor design decisions....

A few posts under my belt
I can confirm that Chiquito's have now pulled out of the riverside development

Being part of the same group it is unlikely that will see coast 2 coast either
