Room 101

John Marwood

I ♥ cryptic crosswords
I'm putting in:

chewing gum
scented candles
people who can't use glue sticks properly

Scented candles!!

What is wrong with people!?

Think!!

What the hell do you think the candle is made from !?

Its chemical shit

Bleached petroleum
It releases toxic fumes
Cancer giving benzene crap
And the wick is made from lead

and breath.....

'Sighs'

Ps

You rarely find fire service emloyees families have candles in their homes.

Yours

What I find really really hypocritical of @kyoto49 though is this.....
...etc
What i found more interesting in the old 'back 'n' forth' was the remembrance on the other side of the net.

Look closely at the 'hawk-eye', and the 'receiver' sees an accusation of 'aggressive driving' - look at the 'server' and the accusation of aggression is directed solely at their 'tone' in response.

To which any reasonable umpire would uphold the decision in favour of the server.

Tokyo may have been right or wrong in the dispute that arose, but its driving wasn't the issue that led to the accusation of aggressiveness.

It was accused of being aggressive because it was being aggressive in defence of its behaviour 'behind the wheel'.

Apologies for the use of the word 'it' - but one awaits a 'forum agreed' pronoun for the Honourable Member, in accordance with previous protocol.

Cycle paths? The ones designed properly are well used, the disused railway line, any path where vehicles can't go so are safe, all well used. Painted lines on a road that cars can park across and juggernaughts drive in to.............yeah, they are pointless!!

the one by beaconside uni is never used.. no cars park on there! the one by asda ... is never used no cars park on there .... so yeah

I would put the following into room 101:
  • Tuperware
  • Kitchen gadgets
  • and come to think of it the whole kitchen

Why i would put them in is because:
  • You never use the tuperware you buy because you can never find the tuperware you bought - hence why you dont use it.
  • Kitchen gadgets such as a potatoe peeler, apple corer, fried egg shaper are all at the back of the cutlery drawer or in a place you cant remember - so end up using a knife.
  • I would put the whole kitchen in because i'm a hopeless cook and if i never had to go into the kitchen again because we didnt have one, becasue it was put in room 101 I would be happy.
Oh i and i think i would put men in too

Ok so mine isn't Tupperware exactly. But I have loads of plastic Tupperwareish type pots of all shapes and sizes..

Used daily for ... well loads of things.

I don't throw anything away that can be reused or frozen...

How out of touch are you? - everything that "burns" releases fumes which are toxic to one degree or another, everything that heats or lights releases carbon deposits including radiators and light bulbs, lead has not been used in any decent candle wick since 1970 (occasionally you will find zinc), almost everything you buy is "chemical shit"-
and I'd much rather smell a decent scented candle than wet dog, cat piss or cyclist sweat !

How is cyclist sweat different to fat bloke in a car sweat?

Burnt Umber is the new Alizarin Crimson - anyhow, going back to Room 101, could I put in The Middle East and Bognor Regis ?
