Hate to be a stickler, but that isn't YOUR website now is it mate? Plus it's not YOU who will be picking up the phone should I ring.J4kEddie said:Just ring me for more SAFE info or take a look at my website HERE
Unless you have been a very busy bunny I suspect that www.telecomplus.org.uk is owned by www.utilitywarehouse.co.uk and they use it for a few of their affiliates.MyMistake said:You own a domain http://www.telecomplus.org.uk on that domain there is a page that redirects traffic through the Utility Warehouse affiliate scheme to www.utilitywarehouse.co.uk with your affiliate ID tagged on the end.
You spoke to someone from www.utilitywarehouse.co.uk not J4kEddie.Trumpet said:I reckon I'm one of the two callers and have to say the guy was very straight forward, didn't try to pressure me into anything and answered all of my questions in an open manner
I was going to setup MyOwn 'website' but www.utilitywarehouse.co.uk has a sign-up fee of £199.75 to join thier affiliate scheme... Incidentally that seems to be the only thing you need to join the affiliate scheme: £199.751 affiliate link deserves another said:I am very impressed with the way this has been handled; points all round from me.
I would however, like to offer anyone who feels they have been affected the marketing methods used a way to get the help they need.
Hmm. A FTSE company like... oh, I don't know... Enron, perhaps?J4KEddie said:Absolutely Rikki and if you have got one then you can add your name to the ever growing list of those who are getting far more for their £££'s in general
For anyone who thinks (jokingly or not) that this is any sort of a scam or catch I can personally assure you it is 100% up front and backed by a FTSE250 company
No, they're really not and I wouldn't recommend it.MyCult said:I'm sure they are very helpful folk and I may call them.
this was my first thought when i read the post too....and ditto for virgin!dirtybobby said:yeah, not doing yourself any favours lol..
for the record, i have never even heard of UW, let alone used them, so i'm not criticising your product.. slagging off a community is not a way to drum up business though lol..
everyone and their dog slags off virgin media, but i have had them since they were comtel and i've had nothing but blistering service from them the whole time, so i understand the sentiment - you could just do with working on your delivery

Was a customer of theirs for 6 months and it's quite impressive how much they managed to balls up in that short space of time. Incompetent ball-juggling clowns.

I'm curious how this works then? However I don't doubt you and am not calling you a liar.Trumpet said:Reckon I spoke to the guy, no 'call centresque' scripting here, or any other call centre feel to the call which was incidentally returned to me on a mobile number.
