The main problem is can see is that the local warehouse doesn't stock everything amazon sell, I still get purchases from amazon themselves delivered from all over the country and once in a while from the EU.

Fair enough, I still think if they wanted to they could do an Argos, maybe build more warehouses, which would benefit both online and offline, or just ship to local stores instead of direct to customers for anything they don't stock.

It's a food outlet more than a shop; but personally I long for a Taco Bell. It's an absolute fudging disgrace that there aren't any in this country. We have absolutely nothing in the way of Mexican cuisine any more.

There are taco bells now in the UK. There is one in the Arndale centre in Manchester.

I went into Daily's Deals on Foregate the other day, they are re-branding themselves as Carter's
and branching out into new furniture (which I suspect is from Argos). Apparently, they are
aiming for a 60 / 40 split between pre owned and new and with the loss of the market stall
which used to sell Argos stuff, some folk may find them useful.

Not sure if this is the right thread for it, but I noticed that the old Max Spielmann is being turned into Yum Yum Sweet Company. I'm guessing it may be the same company that is based in Uttoxeter but can't be certain. There you go.
