In the end she had one from a family friend but she was very impressed with this one, and prob would have purchased it!
Personally with you there but my partner is of the 'newer = better' persuasion plus she's persuaded her ex to stump up a couple of grand towards the purchase.Can I ask why you're so set on something relatively new? I recently picked up a W-reg Fiesta and as it's a bit more modern than a Beetle, it should last me several years - especially if I look after it. And if I were to crash it, it was only £750 which is going to be a lot cheaper than however much an '07 car would set you back. Please don't misunderstand this as being judgemental, I'm just trying to understand the thought process here
