So is it just me or is anyone else feeling heavy?

Hello sorry to keep you all suspense for so long.

So after Christmas I was feeling heavy and had very little energy and was out of breath all the usual symptom's of been over weight, I brought a fit bit and was not moving enough. In January I started to make some little changes, started waking at lunch times and tried to increase my steps so I am up to 10K per day. I also started on a detox so for 7 days I swapped my breakfast for and lunch for a shake and a category controlled evening meal. I also drank water instead of sugary drinks. I found that the over the 7 days that the walking became easier, I had more energy and I felt much better.

After finishing the detox I have decided to continue with the shakes and add fruit to them to continue to reduce my weight, In the 7 days I lost 8lbs and a further 1lbs since the detox.

I appreciate this is not for everyone however I have found I get better sleep and have much more energy and I cant believe how many people have noticed since I lost 3 inches from my waist.

If I have inspired you to start your weight loss journey then please let me know if you want any tips or are interested in finding out more then ask me.

Thanks
Well done you. Hope you're able to keep it up.

Myfitnesspal is a good app to help with calorie control. But moving more, eating less than you burn is the only way to keep it up. You might want to reintroduce solids for lunch.

I'm surprised you've only lost a pound since the detox; what have you reintroduced that's got hidden calories in?

I have got a Fitbit Flex 2 which is what I am using to monitor steps, sleep and food intake. I increased my steps from 2k up to 10k where I can somedays are just very busy and work takes over. I have lost over 1 stone since starting this in January and apart from having baggy clothes I am pleased. I cycled to work today and after taking some Argi+ my ride was great.

Great. I lost a couple of stone 3 years ago, all spurred on by getting a fitness watch. Back on it again as a bit crept back on, but I'm also supplementing it with doing 20 days of exercise a month minimum, on top of at least 10k steps a day.

I have been known to do the odd circuit spin class at riverside which was fun, I used to do swimming however when people just stood and chatted in the middle of the pool it annoyed me.
