I think both the green library and friars terrace have been sold by SCC. What is laughable is SCC vacating the decent registrars for that total crap and soul less new reg office at s place, because old buildings cost too much.

Then SCC should return the registrars back to its original building and put the parent partnership department in s place. Then Buy back the library at the green. It's OUR town, not SCCs, 'it's time for Change'
SCC couldn't sell the Riverway site, hence the partnership development with Entrust.

Scrap children and OAPs, that should generate the necessary savings and allow some serious wastage of money on things WE, the providers of the money, don't need but THEY, the squandering junket-monkeys that play with our money think are a priority for their comfort and self-aggrandisement.
Simple way of cutting costs. Amalgamate the county and borough councils and put them in one place so their arses and elbows know what each is doing. Have one set of councillors who don't have any vested interests and get sacked immediately if they step out of line. Pay executives half as much, ensuring that positions are filled by those who feel they're working for the good of the community, not their wallets.

This can only mean one thing. More yellow lines and more traffic wardens.
Traffic Wardens haven't existed since parking enforcement was handed over to councils, and yellow paint would be a controlled substance.
