"EVENT CANCELLED - SERIOUS POLICE INCIDENT.

Sadly, earlier this morning, there was a tragic accident on the Isabel Trail.

A 58 year old gentleman was walking on the trail, where a tree fell causing serious injuries. Sadly the paramedics who attended were unable to save him, and the gentleman was pronounced dead at the scene.

Trail users are being asked to respectfully avoid the area while the necessary task of clearing up is underway.

Our thoughts and condolences are with the gentleman's family at this sad and tragic time. Out of respect to all involved and our local community, we have taken the decision to cancel this weekend's event.

Your continued support as always, is very much appreciated.

Kind regards

David, Gemma and Lee

Good news regarding Isabel Trail parkrun...

Isabel Trail parkrun links up with Stafford Rugby Football Club
The Core Team are delighted to announce that with effect from Saturday 8th February Stafford Rugby Football Club will become the new hub for Isabel Trail parkrun.
As well as storing our gear for us, SRFC are offering us access to free car parking, the use of their toilet and shower facilities, and they will be opening their cafeteria for the sale of hot food and drinks. This is a fantastic facility and we are extremely excited to be able to support another sports club that is located right by the start of our run.
For at least the first week the Club members will be marshaling the car park themselves, and we ask that you all follow the marshals instructions carefully. For those using Satnav the postcode is ST16 2TT.
A huge thank you goes to our friends at SRFC for offering us this opportunity and hopefully many of you wonderful parkrunners and volunteers will join us for a coffee and a bite to eat after the event to get the relationship off to a flying start.

We can all just dig how much we're all chasing the wildlife away with our incessant chatter and noise.

Now we've all moved to the country, shouldn't we be eating lots of peaches?
