I'm working on a little project which involves having a list of all the pubs in stafford.

I'm going to use magic and thinking to devise the optimum way to cover all the pubs in a seven day drinking binge. At slightly less than 10 pubs per night, it shouldn't be too difficult/dangerous.

It's not far from me but I've never ventured in. Yet.

On the scale of 1 to 10 how rough is it? 10 being rough, 1 being the locals are more likely to buy you a pint than take you out back and 'rough you up'.

Nesbit's not sooo bad, though not a place I'd make a special journey to. It's not quite the Slaughtered Lamb, you need to get out to the sticks for that. That scene btw in the Slaughtered Lamb features an early appearance by Rik Mayall.

I believe the Landlord of the Nesbit married a Thai lady, and she cooks some pretty mean meals! You used to be able to get takeaways, don't know if this still applies.

i always thought that was a bit of a weird cameo.. he doesn't even say anything, if i remember rightly - he's just sitting there with a classic "rik" look on his face.. most bizarre..
