Theres always some older "gent" shouting at an official. Best one ive seen is a bloke shouting at the ref "referee! Do you want to borrow.....my wifes glasses" whilst ripping a pair of specs from his wifes face and thrusting them towards the ref. Pure gold.

T"he young guns came off the bench to fire us to victory"
A brilliant win in a local derby, big gate, great celebrations and many happy fans who will hopefully come back to watch again and again. The short-ish trip to Leek this Monday should give us another decent away following. Just wondering if we'll outnumber the home crowd and how many by?

The video evidence we have for the red card incident is inconclusive but the reactions did not look those of people wanting retribution or a punch up. In fact the ref was the most animated until Josh complained!

Lost 2 0 at Leek in a game where we had a lot of play and didn't finish our chances. 2 defeats in 24 league games is probably not something a lot of us predicted. We look to go on another unbeaten run with 2 more home games. Carlton on 2nd and Leek on 9th,

We got Leek out of our system with a good 3 0 home victory, on Saturday, against a recently improving Carlton Town. Following up the crowd of 978 on Boxing Day with another one of 700 in absolutely dire weather, there were many new faces saying they would return.
We look for revenge against Leek Town this Saturday as we are gain, 12 points clear, but really want to keep that lead if not improve it. It's an impressive place to be around at the moment. Winning spirit, no complacency and no arrogance. Just hard graft, smiling faces and the joy brought back to a club that has seen too many hard times!
17 league games left, 12 points clear, go on and pay us a visit. We could be about to take off! We have also signed a very promising youngster called George Cater, who had been on loan from Kidderminster. He came on and scored 2 goals in last Saturday's win.

Well, the run cam to an end with a 3 0 defeat to Kidsgrove so we equalled the record but could not set a new one. We start another run form now! A game dominated by Boro in long spells and much possession but they took 3 chances on the break and we could not make a breakthrough. With our challengers grinding out narrow victories (Shaw Lane snatched a 1 0 at Leek with ten men, while Coalville won 3 2 with a late winner) out lead is now 15 points.

On the positive side, another decent gate of 739, including 3 groups of sponsors and a very busy social club showed how the place is booming again. Just a shame we couldn't put the finishing touches to it! The shed end team are also due to appear on Stafford FM this Tuesday to talk about developments on the project. Bore hole testing was recently carried out and the results are back so the boys will be talking about the next step. Tune into 107.3 FM from 7pm on 26th.

Come along, cheer the boys on, plenty of cover available!

The Shed End phase one has been give n the green light for going for planning permission. Lots of hard work has gone into that scheme and we are still innovating within the scheme.
