It's possible that he's just waving pleasantly at the photographer.

Lol - did you notice, whilst hoping they were all ok, that the'British Legion' folk were neither wearing masks, nor practising social distancing?

    Cause that's something i noticed.

I thought there was a call for Football Lads to come and protect our monuments. Because Stafford needs far right thugs.

I didn't really notice as I was driving but now that you mention it they were pretty close. Not sure about masks, they're pretty commonplace now so I don't notice. The people I saw were wearing blazers & berets which made me think of British Legion members.

This was quite possibly the silliest thing I saw open whilst in town yesterday...

Good to see the market square bustling with shoppers again.

I believe they won't be allowed under the new Public Space Protection Order, which was approved by the Borough Council earlier this month. I'm not sure when the new order will come into force, but the existing order runs out later this year.

Ooo, got a link to any details for that?

I’ve had only one experience with a market square trailer inhabitant in the past - it was a Virgin Media one, just seeing if they had any offers. Wrote down very basic details and didn’t end up actually doing it, I went with VM Business instead as the offering was better.

Lo and behold some poor technician appears at the house one day and is fiddling at the front, the girl at the trailer had signed me up for a “free trial” and were about to encroach on their own SLA by taking my business line down... The tech was very apologetic and I don’t blame him as I was just following orders, but complaints were filed

As much as I love a bargain, nothing would convince me to go to a car boot in the current scenario!!!
