An ejector seat and machine guns mounted in each wing.

No wait !! Belay that !! Apparently they wanted to use an Austin Maxi in Goldfinger but Mr Connery objected saying:

"Nae feckin chanshe ya shashenack bashtardsh." :P

There used to be a scrapyard near Doxey. I think it was called Derbers or something like that. Great place to get spares for T34 and Tiger tanks.

Am gutted.......GUTTED! ......... about. Pizza Express, family favourite, all five of us! just liked the place and the food. Consistent, friendly, never had a disappointment there and had vouchers bought for fathers day, but will never get the chance to use them, in 'Ford. I know they have shut Stoke as well. God knows how far we are going to go to find one now! Well going to Buxton just before Xmas for a weekend so could use it then! Every cloud! - Always look on the bright side of life!

The same cowboy 'owners' have also shut and put The Leopard Hotel on the market

The market square site would make a lovely lesbian real ale restaurant pop quiz venue stroke nursing home for crusty cobs

Whilst you should never be happy at a business vacating a premise I was somewhat cheered to see the bookmaker on West way has left the site......

Me too. I love to see the staff made redundant and the problem gamblers can get in deeper sh1t online. Brilliant.

Well as someone who went through a phase at uni to being partially addicted to fruit machines (luckily in the days well before fixed odds betting terminals) then yes it's not great, but if anything there is probably greater auditing in the online world.

Not really, There's a lot more choice and a lot more avenues and no real way of connected that players are the same on different sites.
