Sainsburys have started doing a Soda Stream cylinder exchange type thing, with a discount on new cartridges.... It started on 30th August, but I only downloaded the info today, not sure exactly what the discount is as the PDF is very fuzzy, but as soon as I find out I'll let you all know incase its any help.

The powers that be have come back with an answer...

£10.00 off a new cylinder when you return an old one!

    Hope this helps someone...

Pizza would appear to be Stafford's most unpopular food. Following the closure of Pizza Express, Pizza Hut at the Hough is now also shutting down. .

I used it once, maybe 6 years ago, for a nephews birthday. Can't say pizza is what I choose to eat out, or even takeaway for that matter.

I used it last year, unsure why we decided upon it. I am partial to pizza but see it as a wasted opportunity if I am eating out.

I absolutely love a good well made pizza, (especially eating outside in Italy), but I’ve never in my life had a takeaway pizza. Not once.

I did like Pizza Express and adore Robertos in Hanley, it’s our go to place to eat before going to The Regent Theatre (well it was in the old days pre Covid).

We do keep frozen pizzas in the house but they are not the same taste or quality so we’ve recently been making our own to great success.
Napoli Pizza bases (or alternatively Asda own brand) jar of pasta sauce, loads of vegetables and chilli, pepperoni and cheese.
    Absolutely delicious.

I worked in France for a bit, over by the Italian border. There was a nice little pizza place. By pure fluke, on my first visit, I decided on the pizza forestière, realising that it was likely to be 'mushroom heavy'.

Our pizzas arrived - everybody else's was fairly as expected, but mine had a special feature. A couple of eggs were cracked into the middle of it and it was then folded up, in the manner of a Cornish pasty, to cook them with the residual heat.

A most impressive meal that I had on several subsequent occasions.

I suspect it will be even less popular now that the town centre Dominos Pizza staff have all tested positive for Covid. A large Pepperoni with a Coronavirus topping, anyone?

Do you work for a rival pizza company by any chance?

It will be interesting to see what happens to Zizzi as the only established pizza restaurant left in town, however it's a great opportunity for the new Candid Canteen when it opens.
