Whilst I'm glad the shop is continuing in another location, I would have preferred to have stayed in town. It's a quality shop and was a welcomed addition in the town.

There's an advert in today's Express & Star for a closing down sale at Saffron. Have I missed that it's closing down or has it not been mentioned on here? Sad to see another independent shop go but seems they're continuing online.

While away from stafford, it seems Stone's biggest high street retail premises is going. The co-op supermarket and post office are closing down.

Lease up in October.

Yes it is true the shop is closing. There is supposed to be an editorial in the paper as well as the advert explaining why but I can't see it basically due to the online side of the business over taking the shop side dramatically and increased costs of running a retail unit at what is now town end the owner has decided to move with the times and trade only online xx

As a man I am no expert in buying or wearing ladies underwear....honestly. However, i would have thought most women would prefer to make these sort of purchasers from a retail unit where you can get advice from the shop owner and see properly what you are buying.

I do most of my shopping online, however there are certain purchasers - such as clothes, which I prefer to buy from a shop.

I agree to a certain extent and it's very important for underwear to fit properly but the online sales speak for themselves

Oh what a shame! Sadly bras are something I don't buy more than once or twice a year but I've always been to Saffron for them since I've lived in Stafford!
