mentioned on here before. Homebase are not renewing leases on any of their retail it seems and gus group winding them down.
To be honest the oddest place for a unit and a poor choice of location. would rather it was knocked down and the marshes extended as some is to be lost to the rugby club. Homebase are utter tat in my experience, plants in asda are better. the folk I am sorry for is those losing jobs if any.

They can't reclaim the Marshes here as they have allowed a building for some NHS organisation to be built almost on the old railway line. 'They' being are incredibly stupid council

Do you mean the one that looks like The Addams Family mansion? I was told (allegedly) that SSSFT pay ten grand a month rent on that place. We have bedroom furniture that is well past its sell by date on our ward, and are told, there's nowt in the budget for new.

I think this1 is the muscskelatal & skin place

For £10k a month I would expect dancing girls and popping candy surrounded by a moat full of winged eels

10k a month is peanuts compared to some of the cash thrown away by the NHS. The problem is, as with any public organisation, its not their money and every company who does business with the NHS rips it off massivley. Pharmaceuticals, agencies, maintenance, anybody supplying anything to the NHS bumps up the price tenfold and the twats at the top just keep signing the cheques off because it aint their cash and they dont give a fook. Meamwhile the people who are at the bottom of the pile, who work the hardest and are paid the least, take the brunt of any cuts. Theres always some bellend who's on a kings ransom looking to reduce pay and make them work twice as hard for the reduced rate.

Yes

I assumed this -https://www.google.co.uk/maps/@52.8...4!1sf3kvQTCfcwYVhfmbFe0D4g!2e0!7i13312!8i6656

(yes, I know there is a way to shorten links but I can never find it when I'm trying to post something)

and Yes.

How the hell did this building get planning permission? disgraceful when one considers the number of empty building that could have been used. Isn't the old hospital half empty?
