Looks like the Avoir interiors at Woodings yard is being stripped out after their departure which I hope means someone else is taking the unit on.

There are some really lovely gift bits in the unit at the back of the yard (Jonny Todd/Protean Art’s place).

I noticed a lot of black paint in the old co op opposite the 4 crosses it even goes along the rest of the buildings.. New ownership maybe.
Do you mean the shop that was Coral?

Guess the landlord is tidying it up a bit. They must have had a deal on black paint seen as they have painted EVERYTHING including the posters that Coral put over the windows when they moved out.

The new sports direct at Riverside looks nice and modern. Shame they couldn't have just refurbished the old Woolworths store though, would have kept people in that end of town.

“They” don’t want retail in that end of the high street. Residential & night time economy is their future vision.
Retail doesn’t want that end of the highstreet either, those old buildings are a pain in the ass to shop fit.

Yep, it's all cyclical.... People wait until the council compulsory purchase a while area to redevelop, then it begins again....

So much for town centre policing, perhaps they should walk one their clever sniffer dogs around some of the many empty units in town
