Stafford shops opening - Turning into a boom town?

Not quite a shop but a pop up Thai on a drive on First Avenue just by the turning for Gordon Avenue.

They were only doing Pad Thai noodles and spring rolls today as a bit of a trial for their new van.

They weren't sure which days they'd be opening yet as they're still testing things on the van.

The food was really good and good value and worth calling in if the flags are up when you're passing.

Is there adequate parking nearby, or can their front drive be used ?

No double yellows, so oodles of parking on the main road and/ or other side streets.

There's plenty of on street parking for the short wait whilst they cook the food.

You could probably pop into the Holmcroft for a few if you pre-order the food to be ready for a set time

Greggs looked like it was ready to open when I was there last week, work progressing on Home Bargains, nothing much happening with the future Poundland and the carpet shop that is to be a charity shop was closed but hadn't been cleared out

No visible changes this week but at odd points around the car park pairs of disabled bays are coned off. There aren't enough disabled bays anyway.

I think they will keep pretty different orbits of customers - especially with the new houses going behind the Hough

No menu to read before going in so I don't know exactly what their offerings are or how much and it's cash only.

I'm in two minds about trying the place but my go in for a coffee or a cooked breakfast (if they do them) if I'm down that end of town.
