Both Rooneys (next to stafford cinema) and the fuji camera store , salter street are under offer
Is Roony's still by the cinema? I thought they had moved to Wolverhampton Road a good while ago.

Is that the camera shop that was where Lotus Records used to be? Hasn't that been a clothes shop for a while?

Sorry should have sorry former Rooneys, which has been empty since they left I think.

Where the old lotus records was there was a short lived ladies clothes shop (no idea of name), but I few knew about it so I thought it would more useful to say the camera shop :)

Another one? There’s one opening in the Tech Park too
Yep, if approved at least it'll help the pet centre a bit. :) Would have loved a proper café there though, complete missed opportunity imo, with the passing trade of both workers and customers if got right, would make a killing.

I've been informed a hairdressers is taking on the old 'better living' showroom too. It's being refitted now. Think 'Koo' is relocating there.

I hope it's a good vets. If they have on call in Stafford then I would happily swap to them. The Island on call vet requires one to travel to Stoke at what ever ungodly hour ones emergency is and is also very expensive!
For me this is the only downside of The Island, I wouldnt change them but their on call is a hell of a drive away.

Try Shires on the Tech Park.

Don't vets just refer you to the nearest on-call for out of hours stuff? The Vets4Pets one is also in Stoke ("Vets Now").

Notice the oversized for sale sign has been taken down for the former fruit and veg place in Mill Street (thatched roof).

Whether that is a case of it had been sold, come down of its own accord or the owners are not happy nobody has purchased ot for 400k I do not know.
