Wow she has personal endorsements from David Kidney and Tom Watson . Enough to put anyone off voting for her...
Mind you, non of the others are worth voting for either, so she's hardly at a disadvantage in that respect.
I'd love to say I support Kate on this but I don't know what 'this' is! All I can gather from the newsletter is that someone doesnt seem to like women and someone else seems to resent their colleague being done for fraud.(Full disclosure. Labour supporter and fully behind Kate.)
This is as you say @ATJ nastiness. not good at all and it distracts from issues that effect us. Hopefully its not going to be one of those bitter arguments that run and run.
Not a description often used to describe Mike Shone I should imagine. As things stand I'll be voting green, but only because they're the least c*ntish that I could tolerate.
Five hundred quid - you get it back if you get 5% of the votes cast. How mucb is thr deposit?

Turnout last time was 50, 209, so 5% of that would have been 2,511.How many votes is that?
*fanThe problem is that people get angry at national politics and forget that their vote only counts locally. Good local MPs lose seats despite years of good work and bad local MPs keep seats in comfortable areas despite years of self service and expense fraud. And yes, I am thinking of local examples.
If my vote counted nationally, I might go green. As it doesn't, and I'm not a Dan of the local Greens, I'll probably go Labout

A great chap. He once gave me a £1,000,000 note.
There was no misunderstanding. He had been claiming benefits for three years when he should not have.Seems odd that Hollinshead was charged, found guilty and fined for a misunderstanding, while the council leader was let off a potentially far more serious alleged offence, despite admitting that he was guilty.
