I wrote to the editor of the Newsletter the other day cos they don't update the news on their website for a week or more, but the stories that are there from last week have this week's date on.....anal I know, but it does my nut in. I think I should be the new editor...

i noticed this at work the other week....tis very annoying when im used to my weekly dose of ford gossip on my thursday dinner break.

i concur, rex for editor...at least his spelling and grammar is superior- when he's sober!

Dear Mr Rex,

It is now 9.50am Thursday and I have spent the last hour or so loading up our website with the news published in the paper this morning - about 30-40 items in total. These items will be released on to the website by a time mechanism which places this week's news on the website at a pre-set time today. I am, therefore, somewhat puzzled by your assertion that we are carrying last week's news on the current website and wonder if you could monitor the situation for me.

My understanding is that, although much of the news is archived on the site, the home page displays this week's news - please let me know if this is not the case. If not, I will have to contact our technical department as to why and how we can rectify the situation.

So..when I wrote my letter I quoted a few of the headlines which had definitely been there for at least a week, but had a more recent date stamp. Funny that I'm not the only person who's noticed this, yet Mr Gilder seems oblivious. Anyway, not sure if it's as a direct consequence of my actions, but looking today their site is now up to date

Sounds interesting...is he going to wear a different Stafford T-shirt everyday for a week in the House of Commons?? That would be quality.

Here's an idea. Howzaboot - 'Fred Pritchard ate all the greenfield sites in Stafford and built hideous monstrosities in their place and will continue to do so until there's nowt left', then one of the symbols. A bit long winded i guess..

Need a bit better resolution but it'll come. The possibilty of these is amazing, link a few small cameras into the design and show what they see - instant predator cammoflage!

Yeah i've seen them somewhere before..did you get one? Not something you'd wear out of a school night, but on a novelty/ravey-tip would defo serve the purpose. How long do they guarantee them for, if at all?
