Ah, I see.....I believe that, if you close a road, the official diversion should be along roads of a similar stature, to avoid larger vehicles being compromised by nipping down roads that aren't suitable, etc.

Via Amey updates -Signs at the top of Radford Bank today saying there's going to be traffic lights there 15th - 18th August.

Phase Two is now underway at weeping cross. Unfortunately, due to delays we now foresee this phase being completed by 18/08/17.
We will continue as planned to commence resurfacing works on The A34 Radford Bank under 2 way lights on Tuesday 15 August, for approx. five days.
