And around the windmill roundabout.
A giant illuminated 30mph sign has appeared right by Stafford Common on the a34, it nearly blinded me as I drove home from work last night.
There's also one on the roundabout leaving town opposite the Waggon & horses. Its says don't follow sat nav, or something like that. That's quite blinding in the dark when you are approach the roundabout.
Traffic lights stuck on red under M6 Junction 14 bridge. Avoid approaching from Creswell, Eccleshall.
It was bad coming out of Stafford too at about 17:30. M6 northbound traffic leaving the Mway and clogging up to the island. Sat through two cycles of the lights before I was able to carry on towards Bridgeford.
A lot worse in the other direction, backed up all the way to Bridgeford.
M6 pretty well blocked northbound from J14.
Tell me about it...
All three lanes M6 North twixt 14 & 15 closed since this morning. One lane now open apparently.
I could find my way home from Sierra Leone, but I’m lost without an inside pocket
Drove back from Stone this evening at 22.00. As I was heading towards the crossing at Snow Hill, I think that's what it's called. 9 lads on them there scooters went straight across in front of me, would've taken a few out, but I love my car and don't want see him damaged.
Last seen pratting about on Sainsburys car park.

Chiefs at Staffordshire County Council said the move would see pavements widened at South Walls to create a shared cycle and walking space.
New crossings will be introduced with the existing two-lane road being reduced down to one following the public consultation earlier this year.

Work is expected to start on January 11 and is expected to be completed by April 22 – with roads closed throughout the works and diversions in place.
Minor works will be carried out at the roundabout on Lammascote Road to improve traffic flow along with some general improvements to the public area.
And the taxi rank on Clarke Street will be moved to South Walls and will be replaced with pay and display parking, bosses have announced.
Access for businesses, properties and carparks will be maintained throughout the work period – with existing parking bays on Eastgate Street also accessible.
Councillor David Williams, cabinet member for highways and transport at Staffordshire County Council, said: "These improvements are all part of our plans to make it easier and safer for people walking and cycling in the town.
"In the short term this will make it easier for people to socially distance and get around safely. But, longer term it will help encourage more active travel, improve people’s health and wellbeing, combat climate change and help reduce air pollution."
The scheme follows public consultation earlier in the year and is part of the county council’s local cycling and walking infrastructure plan – which aims to improve people's health and wellbeing.
The scheme will also create the ‘missing link’ of the National Cycle Network NCN55 creating a safe cycle route through the town.
Councillor Williams added: "The highways improvements also link in nicely with The nearby Eastgate Regeneration scheme which could see the creation of a thriving community supporting a vibrant social, retail and cultural offer in the heart of the town."
That makes more sense than the half-arsed 'solution' they have there now with crappy cones everywhere.
Pull the other one
A guy with a bike like ^that will not share a path with anyone for any reason. He will ride it on the road because it is a Road Bike.
A person with a mindset that already hates him for it will not unhate him for any reason. He will ride his hate because it is a hate hate.
A hate with a hate hate that already hates will hate because it is already half-hate after hate o'clock.
Not sure what's going on, but all the way from Foregate Street, round Queensway and the whole of the gyratory is down to 1 lane in both directions.
The cones are for drain clearing and hedge cutting round kingsmead and queensway. Just driven past them working
Let me guess, drain clearing first, then hedge cutting, then wondering why the drains are blocked?
Just the job you want to be doing the Saturday before Christmas. Inconveniencing the maximum number of shoppers.
