Enjoying a drop of red.
A mere fraction of those that deserve it, I'm sure. We're now clamping and / or lifting up to 20 vehicles a day five days a week just in Walsall and Dudley council areas. Many have no MOT either.

Where I am, it is not at all unknown for the cops to seize horses. This is one waiting for the transport to arrive. We're now clamping and / or lifting up to 20 vehicles a day five days a week just in Walsall and Dudley council areas. Many have no MOT either.
We'll never run short of targets. It's only hours in the working day that restricts the figures.A mere fraction of those that deserve it, I'm sure.
Reminds me of the Cambridge Beer Festival one year. The police wandered in and asked if the person with a horse tied to a parking meter outside would please remove it. Young lady rode off into the sunset. There was more to it than the parking offence
They've gone.Anyone know if the temporary traffic lights are still active on the A34 at St Leonards today?
Yes I saw the delay on the sat nav so avoided town altogether this morning. Drove up there after seeing @YorkshirePud's reply about half an hour ago and all is back to normal. Not sure, but it took us nearly 45 mins this morning (around 9am) to get from Halfords to the Radford Bank
Maybe we should start doing that, some interesting shapes (just to raise awareness)Perhaps all the lights are to allow highways/amey to put some white paint around the potholes.
I think it's to prepare for the residents/permit parking scheme that is planned fot that area. Some of the yellow lines on the other side of the road have been burnt off as well.Towards the end of Friars Terrace, Highways have burnt off the yellow double lines in readiness for what I expect to be a disabled parking space. All great but given the speed that people take that corner it will lead to problems !!!
They're not speed humps, they're inverted potholesI was riding my bike on Gravel lane yesterday and noticed it's now full of rubber speed humps... Have they been there long or have I just missed them??
That's always been part of the boy racer/getaway drive cut-through from Prickerscrote to the M6, so the only real surprise is that they weren't put there a lot sooner.I was riding my bike on Gravel lane yesterday and noticed it's now full of rubber speed humps...
