Even if you dismount there's not enough space. A truck door in your face not much fun. On the same subject, Doxey Rd has been partly patched, leaving the potholed speed bumps. They have improved the cycling aspect by the lay-by by installing "Cyclists Dismount" signs. The standard answer to this sort of issue.
I look forward to "Drivers Get Out And Walk" signs when the potholes get a bit too much.
They're working on 2020 (weather permitting).Which year?
Shhh.Just been into Stafford (from Creswell) and back. Everything seems clear now, in fact better than normal.
Which year?
Mañana. A philosophy seemingly strictly adhered to by our beloved councils.Next year, always ‘next’ year.
All roads out of Stafford blocked.A34 blocked betwèen Stafford and Cannock - snow related ( Brocton to Pottal Pool )
2 lanes M6 blocked betwèen 12 and 13 southbound- lorry crash
A41 shut south of Newport - snow related
If the A449 goes I think we can presume this is the alien invasion we've been waiting for
Penkridge to Cannock road now shut
They've landed !
A51 shut - Weston to Hixon turn
A518 shut between Chartley castle and Uttoxeter
Not causing enough congestion? Can't have that...I think the traffic lights are being worked on.
