Yes 1986. I worked there all summer.

I won't say what I did there exactly because it is not PC anymore but anyway my outfit consisted of a yellow and black lycra ensemble. We looked like we had just walked off the set of Star Trek.

When I have a spare half hour I might watch this.

Oooh I wonder if I'm on this clip, I was 15 at the time & dragged there on a family outing. My stepmother & grandmother got themselves wedged in the big slide (on top of a hill?) & being 15 I was absolutely mortified & walked away in disgust!

Funnily enough, that's exactly the kung of thing that I do now....

Yes, that is true, I do indeed.

Although one friend started off in Moss Side (the friend that calls me "love"), he went posh and now lives in Ascot. He still calls everyone "love" though.

My neighbour over the road is a Manc but you would never guess. She is very lovely but very posh. Never calls anyone love.

My other half is a Manc too. He is very posh. He says Barrth not bath.

He very rarely uses the term "love"

He mainly calls me "darling" which I quite like.

Sometimes he calls me "miserable old cow" which I like less so, but is probably what I deserve, and let's be honest, nearer the truth.

I'm not posh, I say baff not Bath or Barrth. I also say buz not bus. The youngest thinks it's funny to take the Michael out of my speech.

    Accents amuse me.

Years ago when I was younger there were some accents that really grated on me but now that I am older I accept, and love, the differences in the way we all are.

I do apologise by the way @Glam .

I may have called you "hon" at some point which you said you didn't like.
    I wont do it again.

Well I might, but if I do, I mean it nicely. x

Well we did get off on the wrong foot.

I like to think that as the years and various posts have gone by, that we have realised that we are different.

We sometimes have the same view, we sometimes have a different view. We lead different lives.

But sometimes different is good, it makes you see things from another perspective.

I understand (I think) the job that you do and I have a lot of respect for that.

So yeah, I would like to think that we are orate now.
