No, I'm allergic to anti biotics though and they said that any allergies can cause the risk of an allergy to the jab. I decided to take a chance as I had been recommded to have it, but really dont think I want to feel that ill for so long again this year, especially not with a shop to run.

I'll soon be able to counter that claim if my son gets flu like it's looking he will....he had swine flu. Meh....

I had proper flu back in 1999 and boy it was memorable - floored me for a week couldn't drag myself out of bed, thank god for my Mum who looked after my little'un. Lost a stupid amount of weight and back then I really couldnt afford to. Have greatest sympathy for anyone who has it :(

oh..

keep us posted

apparently these so called health reports and surveys we see in the media sometime use as few as 24 people in the research

Im sure we could manage that on here....

Well he had chills....they were multiplying... :P

He's still poorly but as he's getting better now I don't think it was flu so that claim may still stand.

24 people?! Madness!!!

Is that a Moomin?
I had real flu once aged 11. I ran a temperature of about 41 deg c for three days, hallucinated devils in the bathroom and screamed if anyone moved me in any way...However having not had it since I think I might be ok now *Touch Wood*.

I really should get it I suppose as I do have medically controlled asthma, but I just feel like I might be taking it from someone who really needs it...
