    What time do they open on Sundays? Drove past yesterday afternoon and it looked closed, nipped in to Tesco for a few bits and pieces, drove past again shortly afterwards and it seemed pretty full

    It's got a lovely atmosphere on Sunday. I've not been to floodgate for a number of weeks. I'm getting withdrawal symptoms.

    I understand that -"Well-behaved dogs are welcome and provided for. The pub operates an adult-only policy." - whether that excludes puppies or not is not clear..

    Andrew and Ester generously put out, black pudding, porkpies, toms, cheeses and crackers on sundays. Samosas being an occasional customer contribution......

    Looks like I've been thwarted, the plan was to get a lift into Stafford and pop in whilst Mrs T and Gurly were at the flicks watching Cats but they can't get seats.

    Not until 17:20 but I'll put it out there to them, think they were looking at an afternoon showing and then out for tea.
