No, cos the only terminal illness sufferers I've known had a lot more get up and go than you do, despite knowing they would die soon. I am doing my best based on MY experiences of what works and what doesn't. They may have been in the same boat, but everyone IS unique so you can not guarantee that what works for one person will work for another, especially when it comes to something that is so variable such as mental illness. I'm not comparing my situation to having cancer, I could have equally chosen pneumonia, broken leg or even common cold. The point is, spontaneous healing on demand is very rare.dirtybobby said:

It just goes to proove what I said on the other thread, "non visible" illnesses are too easy for lazy scroungers to put on and people like you give genuinely ill people a hard time as everyone gets branded a faking scrounger....

A little unfair I feel, GK. Depression is often very hard to diagnose and even harder to prove, I offered my opinion only as someone who has had it and managed to move on ( although I believe you never truly get better only experiance prolonged remission)
Although in my case I was too out of it to even put clean trolleys on each day everyone experiances a different level of this illness. If Lunar feels up to a little light protesting then more power to her, as I coudnt have done that while ill and probly still couldnt due to the illness of apathy I now have :p.
Everyone seems to be getting in on the Lunar bashing and I think from now on I'm going to sit this one out it was never my intention to berate Lunar just to put my point across. If Lunar has Depression and its been verified by a doctor then who are we to question his/her judgment as a medical professional?

No one is Lunar bashing, everyone just disagrees with her point of view. I think on the whole it boils down to the fact lifestyle led by Lunar (whether genuine or not, it doesn't matter) is not consistent with what is considered the decent and self sufficient way of living embraced and accepted by the masses.ToriRat said:

I know that Lunar has agreed for this thread to continue, and it seems she relishes in the fact that people are sitting, waiting for the next contradictory/contentious comment, much as those who are waiting seem to be doing too, but can't we stop the whole place from converging on this ONE THING??
I joined here for many reasons, many of which I didn't realise until they'd occurred, and i'm not talking about anything odd before anyone says it. It seems that many of the posts of the last week are directly concerning the mental health of Lunar, and whether she's agreed for that to happen or not, is there seriously nothing better we can talk about?!?
I hope Lunar finds herself and somehow becomes a happy person. I hope that she can gain from a few of the comments left on here, and that one day she'll have a job and be able to support herself. I also hope that Lunar would post in other threads where she can tell us about what she does get up to, and that we have the opportunity to make constructive comment on other things, which i'm sure we all have the capacity to do.
