LOL fair point!

I disagree in a big way with allowing people to pop out sprogs left right and centre because invariably its the people who cannot look after themselves let alone children who seem to have lots of kids.

On a side note merry christmas to all those who are sponging off the state by the way, I hope you enjoy the £5000 of income tax/NI i have paid this year to keep you afloat. not to mention the £1200 my ex partner and I paid to the local council for them to argue with us about our bins and NOT take away our refuse resulting in having to drive it to the tip. Suffice to say this year I have only seen the Doctor once (and still had to pay for my prescription), I have used public footpaths and thats about it. It really pisses me off I see bugger all else for this money other than scumbag teenage mothers walking around with 3-berth pushchairs.

And yes the Conservative are sacrificing their core values to become as popular as Labour. I cannot see why anyone would vote for Labour myself, but there you go, it just goes to show the something for nothing (unless you work hard to pay for everyone else adopting this) culture is here to stay :(

12 months ago I'd have gone nuts about that article. Sadly the truth is now there just isn't that much work available. Sure immigration plays its part but its not the only, and i doubt the main, reason why unemployment is so rife at the moment.

Why don't we just put this family down? Put them out of their alleged misery.

How can you get to that age and have never worked? Surely thats impossible? I know right now the climate is poor but in the last decade we've had it really really good job wise.

"Didn't have the qualifications to get into the Army" - EVERYONE but everyone knows you don't need any qualifications to get into the army, it's been used for generations by underachievers who have little or no other option and don't want to end up on the dole.

I would love to see a secutity guard try and get my camera off me. Or a park warden. I'd sooner smash my camera up bludgeoning them with it than surrender it.

And as for private security guards, do they not only have rights on the land they're guarding?
I don't think they could, it was more stuff like the right to your name, address and a photo of you. It makes paedophilia easier for some more people (but then I would rarely class police officers as people).

Fair enough, well the only person I will give any of that too is a police officer with propper ID under threat of arrest. Otherwise they can do the Foxtrot Oscar.

I'll try that one on them the next time I ring them.

Someone once said that the mark of a good police force is that they catch more criminals than they employ.

and when you need their help, im sure youll be happy to share that opinion with them.

I used to date one. I don't think I can recall one occasion when they have helped me, but I can think of plenty more when they haven't.

I am not disagreeing with you outright, but I have friends who have been in prison but no police officer friends (unless you count my ex, but I don't know what's going on there) - I hope that answers you question.

In my experience police officers tend to detach themselves from civilians, for want of a better word. Two old friends of mine have gone into the police force and have since disappeared from the social radar, probably due to the fact that their friends are involved in all sorts of illegal activity. I'd still class them as people, just uninteresting people.

I dislike the police as an organisation, however the officers at 'ground level' are the least to blame, they have a really difficult job not helped by the socialist tossers who control them. I'd wager most officers can see how best to tackle a situation but have to follow ridiculous rules set for them by people who haven't got a clue and are more interesting in protecting Shaz and Daz and their three 'pay cheque' children from justice than the decent people who inevitably become the victims.

Like you I cannot think of a single situation where the police have helped me out however I cannot think of a situation where I have not been able to deal with a problem myself without involving the police. I have however had several dealings with the police, vairous stop searches, random vehicle checks, or so they say, and have always found them to be amenable and friendly, and also courtious especially when finding nothing of value to them on my person or in my vehicle.

I think it boils down to a difference in lifestyle, with fewer common factors than 'usual'. It is difficult to word what I mean without commanding a definition of 'normal', but lets assume that normal means you and I and the police are not normal. We all do things which would be considered acceptable in society but maybe not in the eyes of the law, downloading pirate material, using recreational drugs, parking where we shouldn't for five minutes while we pop into the Post Office etc. and think nothing of it. Police officers cannot do this.

Also I guess the police have to maintain a certain lifestyle when off duty too in order not to compromise their position within the force, for example.

In summary, I think declassifying them as people is a little harsh, regard them more as god botherers - people who's lives are boring and ultimately unfufilled

If you are referring to the Labour government then you clearly do not understand the meaning of socialist...

I don't do any of these things, in fact the only one I have done is used recreational drugs - over 5 years ago. I am pretty sure that police officers get away with all sorts of things on a regular basis - speeding being an example, I'm too lazy to Google it or search BBC News for the proof right now.

From what I can gather, my ex's reasons for dumping me by text message with absolutely no warning whatsoever on the weekend of my birthday when I moved into my university accomodation had absolutely nothing to do with me and everything to do with his job.

yes, it's clear to see that your hatred for "the establishment" comes from stout moral objections and well considered political beliefs, and not just the fact that you're bitter you got dumped by text lol..

Yes, clearly I don't give a shit about the fact that they use anti-terrorist legislation (SOCPA) against political and environmental activists, regularly agree to march routes then change their mind and generally set things up in a way designed to break us. Not to mention that they protect fascist Nazis - recently in Liverpool a normal football match (against Stoke City I believe) has been cancelled on advice of the police because the BNP want to go out onto the streets - excuse me?

I admit I am bitter, but the reason I hate the police is just as equally due to my politics if not more so nowadays - my ex just provides me with another reason.

The old school opposite Zanzibar, as we must now call it, is worth a look - some odd architectural bits there, particularly the really pointy spire.
I seem to have completely failed to un-derail this!

Are there non-facist Nazis?

A bangarda displays very poor undercover techniques whilst infiltrating a crowd of da yoof.
