The old Jobcentre.

Tbh, anyone willing to put money into that place, to turn it into something useful should be praised.

May also make the council more inclined to give the vacant land to the side of it planning permission for houses.

So that’s two more derelict properties dealt with, with around 79 apartments created along greyfriars .

Conversion? I assume that doesn’t mean “tear it down and start again”

Also, isn’t 51 quite a lot for that building? We have larger buildings with less apartments in

Yes but people are getting smaller

Because they eat faster food

So you don't need a swing

Or a cat

Simples

Will this developer have enough wonga on tap for what must be a major project? Perhaps the New Beacon bloke will chip in a tenner?

Has the old old job centre got a future?
Yes , as town centre living accommodation, if it isn't torched before planning gets approved.

And tbh, the windows will all need to come out anyway, as they're not double / triple glazed and wouldn't meet modern housing specification.

All to do with the finish I guess, Martin Street have over estimated the demand for high class town centre accomodation, they're asking around 175-200 k, I wouldn't be spending that kind of money to live in town in Stafford.

The flats on foregate street and the job centre ones will probably be 90-120 k max.
