On my last trip to the island i spyed a local pub map in the style of the london underground map, sadly i was unable to find a stockist. I'm back in sheffield in a few weeks where might i purchase such an item?.......
hmmm, im not sure ive ever seen one! you could try giving the sheffield shop on surrey street a call or even the millenium galleries as they stock a range of local interest books.

My god, the Leadmill. I'd forgotten all about that place, and for good reason.

Can you really not ride a bike cookie_monster?! And where's the Leadmill?! Sounds ace!
yep, really. never did my cycling proficiency at juniors and never could manage even the length of the house in the alley behind ours.

leadmill is on leadmill road near the train station- its a bit of an institution, although you may need a visit to an institution after a night out there.

Really appreciate your attention to after all what was a minor problem but I'm confused now, in your 18.10 post you said the Totty was "all good now" and at 21.19 it "will be on at the weekend" could you clarify please?
Dear Trumpet,

Had new batch delivered, so needs to go on stillage. Will be availabe Sat morning onwards. The problem was a tiny hole in the pipe of the pull, letting air in. Anyhow, got the firkins changes as well, just in case.

hope this explains

Times here. The lazy sods have a lie in on a Sunday.
Thanks Gramaisc will have to give the place a try next week end. Saturday could be a long day.
I think being open all them hours they should be let off for staying in bed an extra hour on a Sunday.

There is a rumour that myself and Florence may sample their fare later on today. We'll see - it may just have been her fourth pint talking after we won the King's Arms quiz.

Update on the Top Totty situation. I was walking past on Saturday morning when one of the proprietors dashed across the street to me calling me by my forum name. Very apologetic about the Totty and advising that all was now well. He'd obviously clocked me as the guy that came in on Monday evening had one pint and left.
Top marks for observation and continued customer service. I managed to get a 10 minute break from shopping later in the day and called in for a quickie, pleased to report that Totty is on top form.
