Any dick who wants to build anything that would increase traffic on the road to Doxey wants hanging, drawing (not with a pencil) and quartering. It'll soon be quicker getting to town by going through Derrington and driving back down the Newport Road.

and building on the flood plain....didnt he watch that program with the fabulous david attenborough? unless his plans involve an outdoor swimming, that surely cant be the smartest move?
His plan is to build it on stilts. I'm not against this kind of development in the ford but if it is done in the tacky and soulless fashion of his other buildings then no way. It needs to be tasteful, fook all that parisian bollox, something in keeping with BTTF square. It is my understanding that the council plan to redevelop along the whole of the river from south walls where tesco and riverside were and right up to the long stay car park.

If it does go ahead on the the long stay car park then they will have to divert traffic through the lower sainsburys car park (also council owned). If they try running it around the doxey road then they will have a mutiny on their hands from Doxey and Castletown residents.

This is in desperate need, and whatever it is will be an improvement.

Have you got yourselves a committee?

"Doubt has also been cast on the value of McKeith's certified membership of the American Association of Nutritional Consultants, especially since Guardian journalist Ben Goldacre managed to buy the same membership online for his dead cat for $60."

quality.
i had the misfortune to catch a bit of it the other night whilst channel hopping, and my original vehemence for her was hightened. the thing that made me fume was that when the alloted 'fatties' (her words not mine) turned up at her house at the time she told them to arrive, she acted surprised to see them and ushered them into her front room where she was 'excersising' with big brother she-man winner Nadia. then told the 'fatties' not to act ridiculous when faced with a celebrity.

what a tool. never mind all ya pseudo health bollox Gillian, you seriously need to get laid.

Hehehe. I liked that bit.

I'd probably rather have sex with his dead cat than with that cacky-fingered old witch an' all.

Here's one.

Why oh why do people think that because their suitcase has got wheels on it they can't pick it up.
farking stupid Scandinavian woman yesterday pulled her massive holdall on wheels right over the top of one of me brand new Nike Vandals. Upon turning round to accept my apology but seeing her carrying on either ignorant or unrepentant of her crime I delivered a hefty kick to her luggage with said footware, and still she didn't turn round. Good job she didn't mark me kicks or there'd have been murder I tells ya.

How did you know she was Scandinavian?
Because she was blonde and had pig tails.

No, seriously, she was bickering with the other Scandinavian (possibly her mother) she was stomping around with, and who tried to walk through me - rather than around - mere seconds before the foot incident. I went to uni with enough Norwegians to know a Scandinavian accent when I hear one.

A bit of a petty one, but this has been pissing me off for about a year and half now. What is it with girls and faddy fashions? I'm talking particularly about the 'Ugg' boots and variations thereof, and bleedin' footless tights with mini skirts, but there has also been the furry gilet things, and of course the dyed blonde hair ironed straight in some sort of choppy cut thing. If I see too many more of these people I'm afraid I'm just going punch my brains out of my head. It's so bloody boring I could just cry! They're everywhere, all looking like they've just come off a production line. The thing that really gets me is how these people think that they are all hip and fahionable when in fact they all look exactly the same, it baffles me that they cannot see this. What happened to style? It's very sad. And annoying.

Footless tights are not necessarily a fashion statement, they are a practicality. if you are wearing a skirt with heels & you don't want bare legs but your shoes look stupid with tights then footless is the only option!

can someone explain what "footless tights" are for those of us blessed with a Y chromosone? are they just another name for leg warmers? if so -

mini skirts, .
I love mini skirts (on the right kind of girl though). So I'm glad they are in fashion, infact I wish they were standard issue for girls. Shorter the better I say.
