are you talking about Henry street North ?

(concerned resident)
I was, as you may have surmised, referring to the area northwards from Henry Street.

Talking of worst roads, or possibly the state of the roads, I went over a real bugger of a pothole this morning and my spare wheel fell off.
I think that you may already be in receipt of my opinion of the spare wheel arrangement on your somewhat elderly vehicle. Was your new nice wheel-brace in the vehicle at the time? I'm sure that it would have come in useful to re-attach the spare wheel carrier.
It certainly was!

In boot of car as of last Monday. Now with the damn spare wheel as I was unable to relocate at the roadside.

i am reliably informed that numbers within circles suggest that Apache braves are soon to invade.....
Florence frequently claims ( usually just before a bell is rung ) to have a Cherokee heritage. Might these symbols perhaps be indicating the limits of an area from whose licensed premises she has been barred?

Sorry to thread crash - Has anyone walked from the isabel trail start by balancing resevoir entrance on astonfields lower site.

Walking up the back of sandon road houses and seen the old train tracks and stations.

It feels so much shorter than sandon road. It comes out on beaconside next to swedish cars garage.

Sorry back to the thread of worst roads....

How ungrateful - they only put them there so you could do your own oil-changes. There can't have been any other sensible reason.

...in the days when we told the Libyans that we were their friends there was an RAF base at El Adem. On the golf course there there was no grass, of course, and the sand was so white that they used to play with special bright red golf balls in order to be able to find them in 'the world's biggest bunker'.

White circles with numbers in have appeared on both sides of Sandon Road. Does anybody know what they might signify? Are we about to have some new patches to admire?
We have had various machines blasting the drains along the street today and shoving cameras down afterwards. I notice that a few of the white circles are close to where the junctions of the various communal drains are with the main pipework in the road. I have not accosted any workmen about this theory, as I do not wish to provoke any basil-like incidents. Time will tell.

My tact would be to only approach men on site wearing suits and a hard hat the so called workmen are just too rude and aggressive.....
