A plain police car go past in the middle lanes of the new 4 lane M6 , flashing a sign in his back window to those belting past in the fast lane to 'Move into left lane!'.....Cars slammed their brakes on, did as instructed , got hemmed in the 1st lane and nearly ended up getting off at Jct13

Driving thru Eccleshall this evening, after spending a lovely afternoon with my sister. I stopped to let a little elderly lady and her companion cross the road.
I had to do a double take, could've sworn it was Rolf Harris' wife Alwen. Wouldn't mind, but they didn't even acknowledge me stopping for them.
