You sympathise with this shower of lazy bastards then John?
You try working outside come rain or shine or wind or hail or snow trying to get things through people's booby-trapped letter boxes for hours on end 5 days a week then tell me who's fooking lazy, you ignorant pr!ck... They are just standing up for their rights to what they were promised.

Striking will only help them in as much as TNT/Interlink/other tossers don't want to do their job. Its not economically viable, they don't want it. So in that way yes, striking can help as there is no other company willing to take over their role and they are bound by the unions agreements.

This is not true in most workforces anymore though, most would be replaced for not fulfilling their jobs. Unions can't work for small firms or those whose bosses refuse to recognise the unions, unless I'm mistaken? RM can't really be replaced, as nobody else will do it for what they have to charge.

Oh ffs being a postie is NOT a hard job and frankly they're pretty well paid for it. If they don't like the job or where RM is going then F**K off and find another job. As far as I'm concerned RM is a public service and as a result they should not be allowed to strike.

As for you.... lazy doesn't even come close.

That's not the fooking point, they were made promises - those promises haven't been kept.

Let's face it, in your opinion no one should be allowed to strike.

Yes, I'm so fooking lazy I've worked 6 hours a week minimum since February for no money whatsoever. Only people without any valid point come back with libellous insults...

6 hours a week? if I didn't do that a day I'd be embarassed.....
Are we talking about you? NO. I wasn't even talking about me, and how many times have I been told off for turning things round to be about me? Then of course the Chair of Stafford Forum Tory Wankers decides to have a pop at me and the others join in...

MINIMUM of 6 hours a week, sometimes it's been double that - I am not getting paid for it and I'm doing it completely of my own free will, so can someone please explain to me on that basis how I can possibly be described as lazy, or have they changed the definition recently?

Life isn't fair. I was promised a seat on the board of my old company about three months before it went down the pan, and you know what? I found another job.

Can't really dispute that

What line of work are you in Mr Shoes?
Environmentally friendly lighting.
Yes, lighting that turns itself off so you don't have to! To me, that is lazy - light switches are almost always fitted by doors, presumably so that you can turn it on/off on entry/exit of the room. I can only assume that this kind of thing saves about half a second so that instead of using light switches, people can be working...

Has it occured to you that they actually quite like their job and want to carry on with it? It's not just as simple as that, if everyone got another job because they didn't like one aspect of it then staff turnover would be ridiculous as people would be changing jobs every few months or even weeks, and I can't see anyone sticking with one profession for more than a few years at most! On top of that, for some people with learning difficulties and other problems that affect their labour market desirability and ability to even apply for a job there would be vast inequalities - those who have the knowledge, skills and abilities to change jobs every five minutes will be fine, but anyone who has even the slightest disadvantage would be left to rot in the crap jobs with poor conditions - and they can't do anything about it because the solution is to get another job! You seriously need to get real...

Thank you for proving my point - as from now I am on strike from even acknowledging your pathetic, ill-informed, contemptuous bullsh!t.
