Transition Town Stafford is holding a FREE Spring Sowing Event on Sunday 28 March 2010, 11am to 4pm in Market Square.
It's all about showing how easy and fun it is to grow your own food, no matter how small a spot you have to do it

Gardening tips and "getting started"
Recipes for what you grow
Kids' activities
Loads of interesting stalls
Composting
Chicken rearing
Water saving
Wildlife gardens
Seeds swapping
And the list is still growing
So if you have always thought about growing your own food but didn't know where to start, or just fancy getting out for some fun, come along!
