Hello guys I know of somebody who's been sent down on agency to Perkins & he's getting 1.5k for 2 weeks plus all his mileage.
If an agency didn't offer me a contract within a year I'd be pissed off but just leave. Them that have been there 4 years are either happy with the situation or just fools.
Seem to know a lot of people you lol, 750 quid a week I don't think I'd leave c}: D)
It's been a couple of years since I've earn't that kind of money...aaahhhh the good old days!!!!!!!!!!

dont think so, and as for the supplier laying peeps off i really dont think so.
perkins production level is the highest its been historically even with the strike action in place, so to blame the strike is false......... get your son to ask his boss to tell him why he is really laying peeps off.
and supernova, where dya work?

Union and management have been talking at ACAS last Friday (6th) so lets hope they can come to an agreement and we can get back to making pots of cash :D

Yeah I could get that on nights on bonus working weekend but it killed ya. Good old days.
Yeah I could easily cream £1.5k a week but it would lead to have absolutely no life whatsoever outside of work, which makes you wonder what's the point?! I happy on less than half of that and time to mountain bike and post on here :D

Earn it while your young, give it all to the kids when your old....

I disagree. Earn it while you're young, spend it while you're young. It'll be worth nothing by the time you're old...

Our pay rise kicked in this month, turns out its not just 0.2%. We actually get either 0.2% or £50, whichever is greater. After tax I'm about 60p a week richer, woohoo! ;)

The thing is though, I'm not annoyed at this. I accepted my job on a set wage, that is what I agreed my time/effort was worth. Just because I'm a year older doesn't necessarily mean I am more productive.

Job satisfaction is worth 5K in my eyes.
