does anybody fancy a bit of a meet up?

im back for christmas but it really will be a flying visit due to visiting family in london and it would be lovely to see as many people as possible.

what i suggest is a trip to see the forum lights on the 23rd followed by a completely non-christmasy meal at the pie and ale house?

needless to say, the railway will be the place to be on the 24th, but it would be great to do something civilised before the obligatory drunkeness ensues on the 24th.

let me know your thoughts and availability.

I did once apply to become a cosmonaut, but my Russian wasn't up to it and they ended up with Helen Sharman instead. Serves them right...

LOL alot, it was all on my facebook when it happend. Long story short, I came down in the night and found markerat unconcious on the floor, choking. Ambulance called, Husband take to stafford university hosp. Doctor tells Torirat that hubby is brain dead and wont last long. 10 hours after being told this markerat comes out of coma, two hours after that, hes breathing on his own and is now (three weeks on) feeling almost normal, but has memory loss issues and bad headaches as a result of the hypoxia (sp).
Hectic times people, very hectic. But hey hes alive and as was proved tonight by his going to WMR's light show is up to mild socialising

Yes, we enjoyed some fish and chips and the new transformers movie after the show, he seems pretty much normal now thankfully

glad to hear markirat is on the mend, whilst id read a few posts on facebook i had no idea quite how poorly he had actually been....like nearly dead! it must have been a really traumatic time for you and all the mini-rats so im really pleased to hear all is well. i think under the circumstances a hijack was the least of things to worry about...at least youre not iranian and im not in a boat! lol
