What are we watching on TV?

What @Withnail said......I feel cheated when I invest weeks in a programme only to find it has an inconclusive ending.

Just finished watching The Night Manager...yes I was a bit late to the party on that one.

Yes - #554 ^above
Sadly there was no image showing for me in that post else I could have just asked you how it was going instead of sounding a bit daft and asked if anyone was watching lol.
On your recommendation then I shall subject the OH to it today. I've never seen Lost but I have experienced many series that have rambled slightly, then started what looked like was going to be an interesting plot line then ended abruptly.

We have been watching some yes :) They are quite good. Lost him to Fall Out 4 for now so we will resume again shortly.

Just started watching Stranger Things on Netflix.....If you like '80's movies, with a healthy twist of X-files and a kick ass soundtrack so far, then I highly recommend it!

Not on TV, but currently sat at my desk at work watching last nights ball game between the Detroit Tigers & Boston Red Sox. Currently bottom of the 2nd Detroit winning 1-0

The Circuit.

At further risk of mega-thread censure, watch, it good. It will do more to make you wonder quite what we have done to deserve Sharon Hogan.

I just watched last nights The Watchman with Steven Graham.

I didn't watch it with him....he was wasn't in my house, he was the actor.

Anyway I digress.
It had an odd inconclusive ending.
One of those where you have you work it out for yourself or just guess.

One imagines you have been in similar situations from time to time, and quite possibly have your own 'nightmare dinner party' story to relate...

I may, of course, be quite wrong about this, but am equally confident that I am not.

Your assumptions are correct. I am a regular partaker of dinner parties either as a host or a guest.

I prefer a dinner party to any other type of party.

However I can't regale you with any funny nightmare dinner party stories because the ones that I have been to have had perfectly normal friendly, chatty, witty guests.

I can only therefore deduce that the awful, highly strung, psychotic guest must be me :embarrass:

I have been catching up on my recorded Brian Cox programmes that were on recently and thoroughly enjoyed them.

But tonight.....of course it was Strictly Come Dancing.

Got to admit that before the show I hadn't heard of half of them but after watching the show I feel very happy to get to know them over the next 3 months.

Great line up, great show. :)
