Spouting nonsense since the day I learned to talk
Had Chicken Fried Rice, Beef with Green Peppers in Black Bean Sauce and mixed vegetables from Fungs tonight.

Tomorrow we are going to No.5 to celebrate our Silver Wedding Anniversary.

rib of beef (£8 a kilo tesco) roast parsnips, carrotts, peas, yorkshire puds and mash. Mmmmm, what a good husband.

Beef stew tonight ... need to get some dumplings though!
Jambalaya tomorrow and also got to make some sausage rolls to stick in the freezer!

In view of the weather it's going to be poisson frites tonight. There is just the smidge of a chance that a bottle of red might find its way onto the menu as well...

Tonight Matthew - I shall be eating at the Golden Orient with my eldest (MoD1982) and a few of his friends to celebrate his 30th birthday. No falling down water with be drunk tho, i'm on nights :( :(

Make your own burgers! Then put all the additions on the table and let people make what they want ... cheese, bacon, salad, etc.! Oh, and use muffins rather than burger buns ... something different!

Homemade burgers are the best :) The husband makes mean meatballs too :)

We made a mousakkaish last night, had some lamb mince and some courgettes and aubergines in oil so fried them up with some cherry tomatoes and topped it with cheese sauce and some wedges. It definitely tasted moussaka - ish!
