I'm also having pork steaks, with cheesy sliced potatoes and some garlic fried mushrooms. Found a wild mushroom soup in the freezer, so that may possibly become a sauce. Not decided yet, but am trying to empty the freezer for a defrost so I probably should. Found some venison sausages too, which was nice.

If it's of any interest, Lidl currently has a big bag of pistachios for sale - they have just the one big bag, but is is big.

2 nice runny eggs in between 2 slices of toast. It's lucky me boobs are the size they are, or me egg yolk'd run down me belly!

What a delightful thought...

More tea, vicar?
Gorgeous eggs from a farm other side of Eccleshall, fried to perfection, not snotty bits, Daddies sauce and buttered toast. Lovely. And when the lovely yellow yolk ooozed out the middle, it went everywhere, except me belly.

I've just invested in a new food processor!

Last nights tea was homemade beef wellington, Jamie's 15 (he lied, it took 20) minute potato gratin and home made cauliflower cheese with broad beans.

Just finished making the coleslaw to go with tonights homemade beef (mince from tesco so maybe some horse) burgers.

For luch - my first attempt at tomato soup with garlic basil and marscapone.

got some lovely lincolnshire sausage to use up, so they're going in a pan with some tinned tomatoes, onions, garlic, a bit of stock, then stirred through tagliatelle with a few leaves of basil
